Beautiful Art Case Steinway
Pictured in the middle, is an incredibly restored Steinway A 6'2" grand piano from 1905. (part of the very best years of production for Steinway) With 88 notes in Satin Ebony, this was probably a special piano. The keytops are ivory and they are impeccable. The finish is the rich Black. With elegance of ice-cream cone legs, a banjo type lyre, the fancy scalloped music rack, a double bead around the case and the "new arm" style shoulder, this instrument is very pleasing to the eye.
As a musical instrument, every detail that could be done to make this instrument fabulous, was done. As seen in the pictures, it has a original board in good condition, pin block, tuning pins, strings and under string felt to give this Steinway a thick, rich, sustaining tone. With the new action, the playability is enjoyable and refreshing. This Steinway will bring many wonderful hours of pleasure to it's new owner.
This heirloom quality piano has that warm, rich tone the old Steinways are so famous for. You can caress this instrument down to a pianissimo or really get into it and bring out a tremendous fortissimo....there are no "holes" in this piano's range! The action is fairly firm (which is also characteristic of a Steinway), rather than light and sloppy.

From the elegant Victorian cabinet, to a singing tone that will satisfy even the fussiest musician, to a pristine set of ivory keys, to the high-end rebuild....she is all you would ever hope for in a fine instrument!

You be the judge. You can spend nearly this much on a cookie cutter, spade leg, shiny black, factory-built piano this size.... OR you can invest in a family heirloom. You won't find many people who have purchased vintage Steinways moping around! They know that their piano will appreciate over the years. Why not enjoy your money (rather than watching your investment on a piece of paper at the end of each month)!!!
